For 20 years, I've been the primary developer maintaining Tab Mix Plus through Firefox's constant evolution.
With Firefox changing every month, I must release new versions monthly to ensure compatibility, your support makes these day-one updates and future enhancements possible.

Starting with version 1.32, Tab Mix Plus is now a paid extension to help fund ongoing updates and compatibility.

Price: $2 per month.
Need a lower rate? Just ask — I'll reduce your payment to $1/month.
No subscriptions: I use a Trust Plan — you track your own payments, and I trust your support.
Still open source: Tab Mix Plus remains open source — view, audit, or fork the code anytime.

I believe in openness. There are no subscriptions, no account creation, and no enforced payments. Tab Mix Plus versions, including the Development Build XPI, will always install freely. I use a Trust Plan where I rely on my users to contribute $1-$2/month to support my ongoing development.

Version 1.31 and earlier remain free and compatible with Firefox up to version 139.

I am maintaining Tab Mix Plus since Firefox 1.0.
I continue to improve Tab Mix Plus by fixing bugs and compatibility problems with other extensions and themes, as well as other Firefox's based browsers like Zen Browser, Waterfox, Floorp and LibreWolf.

I regularly release new updates every 4-6 weeks to ensure that Tab Mix Plus remains compatible and functional with the latest versions of Firefox and other supported browsers.
